Did you see the Morphine Man who lived in Drury Lane?

I vaguely remember gigs at the Drury Lane Theatre and that the International Times was based there for a while. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Times but other than that my memory is shrouded in mist.

ps Just returned from my summer holiday in France, catching up on the forum and enjoying your eclectic contributions...I think you may be the forums first Gallic poster...in any case Bienvenue!

I do not remember any Morphine Man on Drury Lane .I don't touch that stuff even when aching pains .In the 60's wouldn't even touch LSD myself ,just trying my first tokes . They whre places on Drury Lane i got invited to visit but mostly cared only about the music .Under the pretense of drugs ,sex and rock and roll ,it looked too much as roman orgies, and I never liked public screwing ,can't think of better word to describe that gig .Luckilly,I never saw that among deadheads in public eye ,had more respect about these kinds of pastimes meant as personal experiences.Highest bracket of good vibes fun with Grateful Dead !
